Ketchup

Ketchup comes from the Hokkien Chinese word, kê-tsiap, a sauce derived from matured fish. Merchants brought fish sauce from Vietnam to southeastern China. The British probably experienced ketchup in Southeast Asia, got back, and attempted to reproduce the aged dark sauce. The ketchup and sauce market clocks around Rs 1,000 crore business in India and develops at around 20% yearly. Indians love to add taste to tasty dishes, and ketchup is always an option.
Stories suggest that Henry John Heinz invented ketchup by adjusting a Chinese formula for purported Cat Sup, a thick sauce produced using tomatoes, unique flavoring, and starch. Food engineer Werner Stoll of the Heinz organization is optimistic: "H.J. Heinz developed ketchup, and it's in use since 1876.
These days the packaging determines the quality. Your product is judged by the way it's been delivered to a consumer. Many natural events influence ketchup; air, moisture, and other liquids can create a breeding ground for microorganisms in sauces/bottles. Thus it is put in glass or pouches mostly.
